I hate goodbyes. 😢 She adopted us in 2011, by literally walking up our farm driveway and making herself at home in our living room. She defied all odds, living to sixteen. Our whole family will miss her dearly. There is no one like you, sweet Belle girl.

Greenhouse going up! Looking forward to amping up my wheatgrass and micro greens production! I am adding @greenstalkgarden planters for kale, lettuce and herbs! Come spring it will be my begonia starting greenhouse. 💚 Sending a big thank you to @nathanvoit and Duane for making it happen a hundred times faster than Dan and I could do it!

I’ve paused flower photos since my dahlias have all become earwig lettuce. 😭 My cosmos got flattened in the last storm that also took out trees, obliterated crops, and broke windows. 😢I diverted my disappointment into growing wheatgrass for juicing! I tend to use my vitamix with a little water and strain as straight up pressed wheatgrass is STRONG. :) Unfortunately, it is not a photogenic as dahlias, but better than earwig-infested dahlias.

My latest featured flower is the @david_austin_roses #ladyofshalott 🧡 I adore her big droopy petals and soft orange coloring with hints of pink. I like to make a little composite to print and one to make into fabric.
